Architecture studio ON-A has unveiled an ambitious vision for Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium.
They plan to transform the surrounding 26-hectare area into a lush city park.
Dubbed Nou Parc, the proposal envisions an urban forest above the existing stadium and facilities, which will remain functional underground.
This green overhaul aims to boost Barcelona’s greenery per resident from 6 to WHO’s recommended 9 square meters.
It includes vertical gardens, tech-enabled water management, and two lakes to collect rainwater.
