IKEA is set to sell its own branded solar panels in the UK. By the end of the summer, these will be available online and in stores across the country.
This move comes as 33% of UK homeowners express interest in solar panels to reduce electricity bills.
Three IKEA stores, in Glasgow, Birmingham, and Lakeside, opened “Solar Shops” yesterday.
The company plans to launch these in every UK store by summer’s end.
