Kindhearted officer’s compassionate act lands job seeker dream opportunity

Ka’Shawn Baldwin, a 22-year-old from Cahokia, Illinois, had a stroke of luck during a recent traffic stop.

Officer Roger Gemoules pulled him over for driving with expired plates and no valid license. But instead of a ticket, Gemoules offered Baldwin a ride to his job interview, understanding his predicament.

Baldwin, borrowing a friend’s car, had no other way to make it to the interview on time.
