A heartwarming initiative is gaining traction in Chester, where a knitting group led by Sharon Wallace is making waves with their inventive creations.

Inspired by the power of music to soothe those affected by dementia, Sharon and her team have crafted “cannula sleeves” adorned with crocheted designs, providing comfort and stimulation for patients.

Since its inception in 2016, the group, known as ‘Handmade for Dementia,’ has grown exponentially, with contributions pouring in from all corners.
