Chef José Andrés is serving hot meals to Puerto Ricans daily after Hurricane Maria.
Known for his Michelin-star restaurant in DC, Andrés has delivered over 100,000 meals each day.
His efforts come as 80% of the country’s crops were destroyed, and non-perishable foods are stuck at ports.
Andrés, through his charity World Central Kitchen (WCK), offers delicious meals like paella, tacos, and arroz de tripleta.
WCK has provided over 350,000 hot meals from eight kitchens. In Humacao, he fed 5,000 people with a pop-up paella shop.
