Hamdi Ulukaya, the CEO of yogurt company Chobani, is sharing his success with his employees.
He is giving 2,000 full-time workers ownership stakes in the company through the “Chobani Shares” program.
This program offers 10% of the company’s stock to the employees as an incentive to stay and work hard.
“This isn’t a gift,” Ulukaya wrote in a letter to his employees. “It’s a promise to work together and create something lasting.”
Ulukaya immigrated to the U.S. from Turkey in 1994. He started Chobani in 2005 with a loan from the Small Business Administration.
