In Syria, over 100 courageous women have joined the White Helmets, a volunteer group rescuing people from bombings.
Aman al-Hassan, a mother of four, is one of these brave volunteers. She joined in January to provide medical aid and assist in rescue operations.
The White Helmets, founded in 2012, operate in rebel-held areas and have saved over 95,000 lives.
Initially an all-male group, they began including women in 2014.
