Panthers unite in heroic effort to aid Hurricane victims

The Carolina Panthers packed 1,500 relief boxes at Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina on Monday.

These boxes, headed to Fayetteville, NC, are for Hurricane Florence victims.

Panthers’ owner David Tepper’s generosity will fund 23,500 more boxes in the coming weeks.

The team, led by head coach Ron Rivera and around 80 players and staff, worked quickly and cheerfully.

Christian McCaffrey, Julius Peppers, and Cam Newton led the charge, with Ryan Kalil and Greg Olsen adding playful encouragement.
