The repair movement is booming! A new report from the Open Repair Alliance highlights massive public enthusiasm for fixing broken items.
Over the past year, volunteers at repair cafes saved around 190,000 electrical items from landfill.
Globally, repair cafes have surged, with over 1,150 active groups—up from just 246 in 2019. In the UK alone, over 55,000 items were successfully fixed last year.
