In an inspiring turn of events, 33 lions rescued from circuses in Colombia and Peru have found a new home at the Emoya Big Cat Sanctuary in South Africa.
After enduring years of captivity and mistreatment, these majestic animals were flown to their new sanctuary.
The lions arrived after a two-day journey, experiencing natural vegetation and open spaces for the first time.
The Emoya Big Cat Sanctuary, located north of Johannesburg, will provide a safe haven where the lions can live out their lives peacefully.
