Six-year-old Mason Motz from Katy, Texas, was thought to be nonverbal due to his Sotos syndrome, which causes developmental delays.

Despite years of speech therapy, Mason couldn’t speak, struggled with eating, and had sleep apnea.

Everything changed when Dr. Amy Luedemann-Lazar, a dentist experienced with special needs children, examined Mason.
