Heroic farmer delivers 2,600 veggies to flood-hit Durban families

Dedani Mabhunu Mkhize, a farmer from Pietermaritzburg, paused all operations on his farm to support Durban families affected by devastating storms and floods.

Mkhize collected 1,300 bunches of spinach and 1,300 cabbages, using his own truck and diesel to deliver the vegetables to those in need.

The community praised his selfless act, with the story shared over 800 times on Facebook, garnering more than 2,000 reactions and 200 comments.
