According to the Third National Communication report submitted to the United Nations, India’s emissions intensity has dropped by an impressive 33% between 2005 and 2019. The country’s rapid progress, including a 3% annual reduction rate during 2016-2019, indicates a resolute commitment to the UN’s climate goals, setting an inspiring example for the world.
