In an exhilarating underwater excavation, the European Institute for Underwater Archaeology (IEASM) led by the renowned marine archaeologist Franck Goddio has unveiled a trove of treasures and secrets off Egypt’s Mediterranean coast. The sunken temple, dedicated to the god Amun, revealed its ancient splendor, including silver ritual instruments, gold jewelry, and delicate alabaster containers.
