Walnut power: boosting attention and brain growth in adolescents, including those with ADHD

A groundbreaking study conducted in Spain has revealed that a simple habit of eating a handful of walnuts three times a week can have a remarkable impact on attention and brain growth in secondary school students. These delicious nuts contain a special type of omega-3 oil that is particularly beneficial for developing brains.

After closely examining 700 students aged 11 to 16, scientists observed significant improvements in cognitive development and psychological maturation among those who regularly included walnuts in their diet. The study also found that students diagnosed with ADHD experienced improved concentration and reduced hyperactivity after incorporating walnuts into their meals.
