An Egyptian-German archaeological team, led by Dr. Mohamed Ismail Khaled, has made a groundbreaking find within the Sahure Pyramid. These previously undiscovered storage rooms offer fresh insights into the pyramid’s design and historical significance.
While working on a preservation project, the team uncovered the original antechamber dimensions and a forgotten passageway, confirming a theory from 1836. Further excavation revealed eight storerooms, with remnants of walls and floors.
