Nairobi, 13 November 2023 – Kenyans joyfully seized the opportunity of a special holiday to plant 100 million trees, aligning with the government’s ambitious plan of 15 billion trees within a decade.
Environment Minister Soipan Tuya praised the initiative, empowering every Kenyan to contribute.
Each citizen is urged to plant a minimum of two seedlings, fostering the nation’s collective effort against climate change.
